Hello, lovely ones! Remember me?
I know, I’m months behind in posting these– but to be fair, these past few months have been nothing short of hectic. I’m just happy I’ve got a few spare moments to continue forth with my thankfulness list tonight. 🙂
.) mom’s delicious pumpkin dip + graham crackers.
.) singing and dancing around on a Friday night.
.) games with mi familia.
.) walking outside and feeling the crisp autumn breeze.
.) frivolity, like changing my hair to the color of Autumn Dusk. (By the way, for anyone who’s actually wondering– my hair’s that colour once again, months later! :D)
.) peace, fighting valiantly against stress.
.) walks in autumn sunshine with Mom.
.) peppermint oil to sooth headaches.
.) lengthy Facetime calls with dear friends.
.) FCA events that challenge and strengthen.
.) beginning new She Reads Truth studies.
.) accountability, shared with the lovely and festive Anna.
.) the smell of hot chicken and fries in the car after going through the drive-thru.
.) Friday nights spent eating Chinese food + watching sitcoms with Mom.
.) opportunities to serve others.
.) music that’s older than me.
.) receiving a surprise of good news before school. (It brightens my entire day.)
.) making a higher-than-expected ACT score.
.) the library ladies’ excitement upon my return.
.) the calm of shelving books in the children’s area.
.) unnamed desserts of chocolate-cherry heaven.
.) Matt’s following in my chorus-kid footsteps.
.) fellow believers circled around our school’s flagpole, praying and worshipping.
.) the joys of having a friend read the breathings of my heart.
.) mornings in which I don’t have to set my alarm.
.) culinary adventures in eclectic new places with family friends. (Y’all remember that post? Told you it’s been waaaay too long since I’ve posted these lists…)
.) lovely Saturdays.
.) when Dad makes banana pudding.
.) fellow believers who give up their lives for Christ.
I’ll try to get caught up with these over the holidays– but it’s finals week (joy of joys), so you won’t be hearing anything more from me until the weekend. THREE. DAYS. MOOOORE…. *ahem*. So, until then… au revoir!
